Is Co-Q-10 a good product? what in your thought is good for the heart?

A weak heart has to be treated medically and any removable cause removed.

Supplements may have very little role.

These statements are made only from my own experience and cannot be considered equal effects for you. EAch person is different, and each substance can affect you differently. What works for me might not work for you, or may work even stronger. It takes time to check out supplements, how they work for you.

Saying that…….I’m a firm believer in vitamins and/or herbs to help you maintain optimum health. I myself have had difficulties with my heart and have found a few things that will help.

CoQ10 is indeed a good supplement, but it’s kinda expensive. I believe that if you do have a weak heart, or notice difficulties with it, that you might try 150-300mg daily, as found from my own trials, and from what nutritional experts have suggested for damaged hearts or from surgery. But it is darn expensive. I’ve found that vitamins even at walmart are pretty good. Otherwise, 100 mg is a good amt to start with for daily use.

But the one I take most and have had the best results from is the herb hawthorne. It is to help the circulatory system. I used to have little bits of irregular heartbeat lasting only fraction of a second. And docs could only shrug their shoulders, saying I’d have to wear a heart monitor for several days to try and capture the irregularity so they could study it. But it only happened maybe 2 times yearly, and didn’t really hurt me.

But after using hawthorne, my heart has felt stronger, more relaxed, and I don’t feel the irregular heartbeat like I used to. Of course, I also used to drink colas (Pepsi rules!!) like I breathed air, so all that caffeine didn’t help either.

But CoQ10 and Hawthorne are two excellent supplements for heart nourishment. You also might consider taking the herb Bilberry, which is used to expand capillaries, which helps the blood to flow easier to small parts of the body, including legs. These 3 would help you to gain a better circulatory system, if there isn’t anything specifically wrong or bad with you. After all, herbal tea never fixed a broken leg, and Hawthorne or any vitamin won’t fix a serious heart defect that requires surgery.

PS—–herbs usually can take several weeks to become effective. Don’t expect changes overnight, or even over a few weeks. Herbs need to work naturally, that’s why natural medicine experts say to allow a couple months for changes to work with herbs.

Laurence W:

A weak heart needs a carefully advancing exercise program of rehabilitation.

Plus a very low fat diet with plenty of fruits for anti-oxidants and fiber from whole grains will go a long way tpwards helping the heart.
