heart burn remedies ????????

Posted by admin on Nov 7, 2009

does anyone know any good home remedies for heartburn I’m really uncomfortable and i have had it since yesterday, i will go the pharmacy if i need to just wondering if there is anything i can take that i might have at home?

A little bit of baking soda in some water can neutralize stomach acid – it does contain quite a bit of sodium.

Prilosec and Zantac both work really well. Tums, Rolaids or Mylanta also work pretty well.

I know of a few people who swear by taking a shot of vinegar. Tastes nasty but works immediatly.

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in a half glass of water. Really, I just looked it up like 2 hours ago, because my stomach was upset. You can do it 7 times in 24 hours if you need to.

Arm and Hammer baking soda. The directions for heartburn are on the side of the box. You will find it either in your refrigerator or wherever you keep your baking supplies like baking powder.

If the heartburn continues more than a couple of days, you need to see the doctor.
