What’s the best method to lower high blood pressure naturally ?

Posted by admin on Nov 4, 2009

Aside from the obvious methods of eating right, exercises and lowering salt intake. Are there any natural herbs or remedies that can lower really high blood pressure quickly ? I’m talking really high as in 180 over 110.. Heart attack stroke kinda blood pressure. Thanks for your replies.. God bless you !

Fatty acids lower blood pressure better than anything I’ve ever seen or heard about.

Salmon oil capsules have the most amount of fatty acids per gram of all fish.{WARNING- Watch the amounts of total daily Vitamin A levels from all supplements and don’t exceed 25,000 IUs per day. IUs are international units and is a measure of volume and Mgs are a measure of wight.} I would alternate with Flax Seed Oil,Evening Primrose Oil,Borage Oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Garlic can lower pressure as well, but keep in mind it thins blood so don’t take with blood thinners.

Hey. Glad you asked this question. I have a couple of remedies for ya. I’m a pesco-vegeterian and a health conscious person. First off, you can drink a "shot" of apple cider vinegar first thing in the morning when u wake up, once in the evening and again before going to bed.I’ve had people say their pressure went from 145/92 to 128/80 in a week’s time. Another remedy you can also use is garlic. Garlic is often known as the "miracle herb". Eating 1 to 2 fresh raw cloves of garlic not only lowers blood pressure but also lowers cholesterol count as well. Be sure to brush your teeth so not to offent anyone with the garlicy scent. Finally, a tablespoon of mustard does the trick as well. Hope this helps you!!

I’d say that there’s no the best way to solve that problem. Some people live with high b.p. all their lives. For someone it’s necessary that it causes bad work of some organs, such as kidney, or something.
And b.p. helps work it properly. Let you sleep more and no stress, anyway stay in good mood for a long time. There’s nothing said about herbs or remedies, cuz I think thay can’t do their best. God bless you!

Best thing that I know is to rest and staying calm.

Yoga is very good for reducing blood pressure, all circulatory remedies are very effective on long term basis (red wine a glass or two every day before lunch or dinner or supper. If there is a blockage the blood pressure goes up to over come this situation so a maintenance dose of aspirin or garlic or ginseng in very effective.

But there are certain prescription drugs that are very effective (Nytro comes to mind, people keep it handy), most drugs are originally were found in the nature and extracted in labs from naturally occurring plants and root,–,–,and then analysed and later for convenience are synthesised in labs.

When it is a matter of life and death, no one has the luxury of knit picking about natural item or not.

PS:

I am not sure if your Q? pertains to maintenance drugs or instantaneous relief drugs on, on set of pain due to high blood pressure triggered by blockage.

Nytro glycerin tablets is the only one that I know for instantaneous relief .

Some people just have this type of reading all the time for no reason and can function fine.

‘Eating right’ is a subjective term that doctors use when they mean eating what everyone thinks is healthy. There is a big difference between actually eating right and then doing what everyone else says is healthy. Check out metabolic typing for an example of real nutrition and you’ll see what I mean. Paul Chek is also great and he has tons of information for changing your life.

Here are my suggestions for you:

- Find what is stressing you out or deeply bothering you and address the issue. It could be where you live (if I lived near NY City, I’d have a panic attack every day), your marriage, your work, your family. It could even be something you’ve been holding on to for 20 years. Analyze. Let it go and move on. Visualize calm.

- Adjust your circadian rhythm by sleeping with the lights off, no electronics near by, and total peace and quiet. That means no television. Try turning your alarm clock to the wall so you can’t see the numbers and putting up light-blocking curtains. Don’t eat too close to bedtime. Go to bed relaxed.

- Hydrotherapy. Adjust your body to liking cold showers. Start with low warm and gradually move to cool and cold. You can switch back and forth as you like, but end on a cold phase.

- Balance your potassium/sodium levels. Eat more bananas and potatoes to help displace some sodium if you have high sodium levels. Eat as many fresh, leafy greens as you can handle to help flush through your system. Switch your salt over to Celtic salt or kelp powder to avoid the aluminum and other nasties that are in regular salt. Use sparingly still, of course. And try raw foods! Look into it. It’s great for your health to have no more than 80% of your diet completely raw.

- Visit the country. Take up a hobby that requires calm and patience. Do something that makes you feel good. Something rewarding.

- Work with a professional herbalist to design a regimen of herbs for YOUR body and needs. Don’t try to do this yourself since you may harm more than help.

- Check any medications you are currently taking for side effects. People think that doctors will know all of this stuff, or that they’ll remember, but they usually won’t. Hundreds of thousands of people die every day because their doctors don’t check medications against each other for contraindications. My own mother was even prescribed a pain medication by her doctor that had a side effect of hypertension when she already had hypertension to begin with! So check this yourself. Don’t trust anyone with your health but yourself.

Kyolic garlic capsules I understand are stronger than raw garlic. Also meditation and Tai Chi are known to lower blood pressure. It might depend upon exactly why you have high BP. If you don’t have narrowed arteries and your high BP is because of stress or worry, then you really need to get the causes under control. Montmorency Tart cherries, either in juice or capsule form definitely lower BP. However, whatever you decide to take, you should really check with your doctor first as natural remedies can sometimes cause other problems especially if you have underlying conditions that you were not aware of.

You could try massage therapy to lower your BP. It has been a proven remedy. Other things can cause high BP, such as a deficiency in your body or an enlarged prostate. BP meds never worked for my hubby so I found a holistic MD for him to see and he’s making great strides under her care. She gave recommendations for supplements, checked his prostate, and tested him for food sensitivities. We have since worked really hard to eliminate the foods he’s sensitive to and his health has greatly improved. His eczema cleared up, he stopped snoring at night (YAY!!! lol), and he lost about 10lbs without even trying! And last but not least, his BP has started to come down. It’s not where it needs to be yet, but it’s better then it was.
If it turns out you have an enlarged prostate, maya abdominal massage does wonders for your body to help lower your BP by decongesting the prostate. Check out the website.

Blood pressure is caused by the hearts inability to pump blood around the cardio vascular system efficiently. Following the e applications of all other remedies you are then required to either strengthen the heart muscle or enlarge the blood vessels to facilitate easy flow of blood.

Special breathing exercises designed to enlarge the lungs and heart are very effective. As follows.

Seated, completely relax. Breathe a few times until regulated. Breathing is an internal exhalation of breath passing through ones four chakras. Gently breathe in and hold nostril to prevent escape of air. Hold this position until slight discomfort is felt. As it becomes uncomfortable relax the internal muscles feeling the expansion of breath to your extremities. Release when it becomes hard to hold. Repeat this exercise timing yourself each time. You should feel a slight light headedness as your boy is oxygenated.

You will find as your lungs strengthen and your vessels expand and dilate the flow of blood will be unrestricted and pressure released. Follow all other precautions.

Good health and God Bless.

I am using an Emwave, which is a cardiac biofeedback machine. It works, and the Emwave is the cheapest of the similar items on the market. I got mine through amazon.com. Search for Emwave.

Make a paste with the following items.

1. Pomegrante powder or fresh pomegrante = 1/2 cup

2. Fresh ginger = 100 grams

3. Fresh garlic = 100 grams

4. A bunch of parsley

Mix all above in a blender and eat half a tea spoon 2/3 times a day. This will naturally lower high blood pressure. Preserve it for 2/3 weeks in cooler. No salt at all.
