What worked for me was chelation therapy. It beats the heck out surgery. It works. My blockage is gone. They can't find it anymore.

This would be classified as "Heart Blood Stagnation" in Chinese medicine. These herbs have worked for my patients in clinic:

Crataegus spp.-Hawthorn Leaf and Flower
Hawthorn leaf has been shown to have a beneficial influence on high blood pressure, high blood fat and high cholesterol. It is widely used to treat coronary heart disease, as it has been proven to strengthen the heart muscle when used for a prolonged period of time (over 6 weeks).

Carthamus-hong hua-Safflower

Boswellia carterii-ru xiang-Frankincense
Breaks up blood stagnation and invigorates blood. Reduces swelling, benefits the joints, alleviates chest pain, and alleviates pain from trauma.

Commiphora myrrha-mo yao-Myrrh
Breaks up blood stagnation, reduces swelling and moves blood. Alleviates pain from trauma.

I take a supplement everyday called Allimax (I'm in Canada, not sure if you can get it in the US). It is comprised of allicin which is the most absorable form of garlic & that's all so I'm pretty sure anyone can take it. It works amazing for many different conditions but especially high cholesterol & it really helps to purify the blood. My father had very high cholesterol & was given prescription drugs which he didn't want to use so he took an Allimax everyday & when he went for a follow-up a few weeks later his cholesterol dropped drastically. The doctor assumed he had taken the prescription. It also worked for my father-in-law for the same condition. I take one everyday & haven't been sick in AGES!!!

It depends on what is blocking it. If you have Hypercalcemia, the calcium deposits are almost identical to lumps of cement and there is nothing that your immune system can do to get rid of them. Other forms of blockage can be improved through substantial, and sustained changes to your diet.
