What is the best cure for a broken heart?

I’ve been a complete mess for the past week. I wish there was something that someone can prescribe me that would instantly make this pain disappear..
How do you get over a relationship that you believed was meant to last?
Been asking that question for a year, it’ll take a while but time heals, (and God can help), just please don’t dwell or blame yourself because it will lead you down a path you really don’t wanna take.

I think if you love her so much ,you can bring your love back.Years ago, the love of my life was involved in an extramarital affair, and he wanted a separation. So I had been ‘there’, gone through ‘it’, and lived through what I would call "a living hell".
I was full of anguish and disbelief when it happened. I couldn’t believe my eyes and my ears. I must admit; I had been a good girlfriend to him for years; giving him the greatest care and love I could give. In fact, I almost gave him my everything!
