In the book The Scarlet Letter what archetype does the character Author Dimmesdale represent?? He is the young minister, described as pale, weak, and in often times his puts his hand over his heart when he has been startled.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

He represents those who are weak enough to not take responsibilities for their actions.

I Survived Roe vs. Wade:

As I understand it, the book was written under three different archtypes: plot, character, and symbolism.

The plot archetype is the battle between good and evil. Hester and Arthur representing the good and Roger Chillingworth as the evil.
