How much Vitamin C is needed to Induce my period?

Posted by admin on Oct 30, 2009

Ok so, I’ve heard that Vitamin C can induce ones period. I would like to induce it because I’m going on Vaca during the time I’m suppost to have it. So I was told Vitamin C and Parsley tea. So how much Vitamin C do I have to take to help Induce(per day). Aswell I’m wondering how much Parsley tea am I suppost to drink too. Merci!

Parsley tea just keep drinking a few times a day until your period turns up – remember to use fresh herb and don’t boil. Vitamin C will help, but only if you get a product without bioflavinoids that are added to vitamin C to protect against miscarriage, you want a vitamin C product with the ingredient ascorbic acid as this is what you need to be taking. Dosage is 6-12 grams per day, divide this equally to take throughout the day with plenty of water. Don’t take these for more than 10 days, prolonged use can have serious health implications – any side-effects such as diarrhea, headaches, upset stomach, abdominal cramps, hot flashes, and/or rashes stop use straight away.

See http://www.sisterzeus.com – it’s a horrible site to navigate through, but a lot of useful information.

You can only induce if you have at least two weeks of uterus lining build-up, don’t overdose and don’t use parsley if you have any liver problems. If it doesn’t work then it’s no big deal, just use menstrual cups so you don’t have to think about your periods while you’re off enjoying yourself, and there’s plenty to prevent menstrual problems like cramps or PMS if you suffer from them.

Edit: These aren’t urban myth, they are commonly used not only to induce menstruation but also within emergency contraception and herbal abortion. Parsley well known as a mild emmenagogue meaning it relaxes your cervix, and vitamin C starves the uterus of progesterone. You can also combine different progesterone blocking, uterine contracting and oestrogenic herbs to induce your period – but Parsley and vitamin C are the safest and most commonly used methods.

Vitamine C will not induce your period. Parsley tea will make no difference either.

if this is your first period than idk. but if it’s not… then yes vitamin C does help. so about a whole gallon of orange juice is just enough to speed the process up alot. as u know there is a lot of vitamin C in orange juice.

Are you on birth control? If you are skip your period that way. Its a lot easier and doesn’t taste as bad as parsley tea and it won’t make you sick from having too much vitamin c in your body. Instead of taking the "inactive" pills completely skip over those and start a new pack.

These are not urban myths. Please don’t post to “warn” people or complain unless you know about the teas or have tried them first-hand.

I honestly will have to get out of my house considerably more as well as cease from investing a lot of of my morning practicing poker on myspace or facebook considering the fact that these days i have been not been able to get up to date about this. Although I can’t disclose that I completely concur with every single expression, it is pleasant to peruse some keen commentary rather than the standard rubbish I discover flying all over the net.

heya excellent little web-site ya have here :) I work with the exact same design template on my own however for what ever factor it would seem to load easier on this web site despite the fact that yours features a bit more content material. Are you currently implementing any plug ins or widgets which quicken it up? If you could quite possibly reveal the names so maybe I would be able to use them in my own resource site so twilight new moon users could watch twilight new moon online trailers and clips more rapidly I’d personally be ever so thankful – thank you in advance :)
