I’ve been told that my heart chakra is "broken into many pieces" how can I help myself the chakra is new to me?

Posted by admin on Oct 22, 2009

I had a tarot reading today, I was told my third eye is blinded and my heart chakra is "broken into many pieces" I have had a very difficult time this year so far in matters of the heart and being able to deal with the same clearly. I’m learning meditation (on my own) any herb, crystal or gem work guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I completely agree with Thinkperfect! AsFor information on your chakras and other concerns, they can be found on witchcrafted. It lists most of the healing herbs, and most, if not all, of the gemstones.Thses lists include uses, properties, etc… Lesson four (in free lessons, which goes through the year and a day process of Wicca) goes thorugh meditation, visualization, healing yourself, dreaming and sacred spaces. Lesson ten involves your chakras. I encourage you also to go through the lessons if you wish. I also included a link for their divitation techniques. The below is striaght from the sight, concerning your Chakras. Good luck to you.

The Chakras According to Hindu beliefs, there are seven main centers in the human body called "light centers" or chakras. Each of these points to a specific place on the human body beginning with the head and going down to the groin area. Each of these light centers has a bright and brilliant color which never changes or fades unless the person is sick and directly affects the person’s physical body. These centers exist on the spiritual plane and can be seen during astral travel and during meditation. They are aligned along the spinal cord in a straight line. The first chakra is red and is located at the groinal area at the base of the spine. This chakra is associated with what we are in the physical plane such as our survival instincts, fear, and the physical as well as the reproductive organs. The second is orange and is aligned with the spleen. This chakra affects your ability to balance yourself both in the physical and spiritual. The third is behind what is called the solar plexus. This chakra is yellow and affects your emotions and intuition. According to D. J. Conway, this chakra is very sensitive and, if blocked, can lead to stomach trouble and the inability to cope with emotions. The fourth chakra is green and is associated with the heart. This chakra is governed by your ability to feel compassion, love, and a sense of harmony. It is also the center of a person’s empathic ability. The fifth chakra is blue and is located at the bottom of the throat. This chakra governs your ability to communicate and be creative as well as intellectual. The sixth chakra is located in the center of the forehead, just above and between the eyebrows, in the area of the third eye. This center is indigo. This chakra deals with your psychic abilities. The seventh and final chakra center is pure white with a hint of lavender at the edges. This is located at the very top of the head. This is the main center of your body and is always the last to open during meditation with the chakras. It deals with bringing your entire body and your other chakras into balance. It affects psychism and spirituality. You can heal yourself simply by paying attention to your chakra centers. When you are looking at your chakras in meditation, you may notice that some appear dull or might have black spots on them or areas where no light shines through. Sometimes dark or mottled spots may appear. This is a manifestation of a problem with your health dealing with whichever chakra has been affected. Silver Ravenwolf describes one way of healing yourself and bringing your chakras back into balance by using what is known as a "vacuum ball." Visualize a ball before you that is devoid of light, much like what you might imagine a black hole to be. Visualize this vacuum ball sucking in things around it from the spiritual plane such as light and dust. Open the chakra that has been affected. For example, if you have a sore throat, open the throat chakra. Visualize the vacuum ball sucking all of the spots off of the chakra until it is clean. Close the chakra and allow the vacuum ball to sink into the ground. If you are very ill or your symptoms are more apparent, it may take many cleanings to get your chakras back in tune with each other.

Basil – King of All Herbs a Healthy and Tasty Herb for All

Posted by admin on Oct 17, 2009

The herb basil is used in cooking universally, and also for medicinal purposes. It’s a great herb and one everyone should consider using in their diet.

Lets look at why in greater detail.

Basil or ocimum basilicum is a member of the mint family, and is most likely a native of India.

The herb is steeped in history, and has a colorful cultural past.

The word basil is from the Greek, vassilios or king.

It got this name in Greek, supposedly as it was found growing besides the True Cross, which was discovered by the Byzantine Emperor Constantine and his mother Queen Eleni.

Culturally the basil plant has an interesting history.

The ancient Greeks considered it symbolically and it represented poverty and hatred.

The ancient Greeks portrayed this as an old hag carrying a basil plant.

When they planted it, they cursed it and used foul language as they believed it would not grow otherwise.

The ancient (and modern) Persians plant basil on graves, a custom that also is common in Malaysia.

Modern Egyptian women scatter the flowers of basil on graves and tombs. In fact the ancient Egyptians

believed that it basil given to the dying could open the gates of paradise for them.

Even today in many places of Europe, basil is placed in the hands of the dead to ensure a safe passing over.

In India, since very ancient times basil was placed in the mouth of the dying to ensure their destination

was to God.

The Romans, as the Greeks, abused basil as it was planted, thinking it would grow all the better for it. In modern day Italy, basil is a symbol for love (heart shaped leaves).

The Greek Orthodox Church (and others) use basil in the preparation of Holy Water, as it is believed it was found at Christ’s Tomb at His resurrection.

Basil’s Medicinal History and Beliefs

Jews believe (an enduring belief) that eating basil gives one strength when fasting.

For European folk medicine gives basil many qualities.

It is used as tonic for the skin, a treatment for all kinds of colds, bronchitis, and coughs.

It is used to treat gas attacks, the flu, gout, muscle aches, rheumatism (and fibromyalgia), insect bits, and sinusitis.

An infusion of the green herb in boiling water is good for all obstructions of the internal organs, arrests vomiting and nausea.

It is often used as an insect repellent.

In West Africa it is used to reduce fevers and the Japanese use it as a cold remedy.

As basil is both Aromatic and carminative, it is used for mild nervous disorders and even for the alleviation of fibromyalgia. (wandering body pains).

It is said the dried leaves, used as a snuff, can cure nervous headaches.

Basil’s reputation in the kitchen as a fresh herb additive to soups, salads and sauces are unequalled. The French call it the Royal Herb, and use it in many of their most famous dishes.

The Italians use it also in pasta sauces, and other sauces, but basil found its greatest cooking glory in the Pesto Sauce of Genova.

It is made exclusively of fresh basil leaves, olive oil, salt, two special cheeses and the seeds of the pine tree.

The sauce is now a favorite world-wide, known for its marvelous flavor and good health qualities.

Basil is not only a herb that does you good it also tastes good to so make sure you get plenty in your diet.

why are the western doctors ignoring eastern medicine which are tropical herbs that more affective?

Posted by admin on Oct 16, 2009

i read an article were in Africa desert there are tropical trees that the local tribes used to treat cancer and in china , heart disease are been treated without sugary with tropical herbs and in northern Nigeria near tropical desert, some people with HIV and aids are been cured with tropical herbs from the trees. So why are the western world ignoring this drugs.many people are dying from many of diease that they claims that there are no cure or durgs.
why can’t they conduct experiments from these tropical trees and most of the durgs used by the western doctors comes from tropical trees and are process with chemicals which can casue side effects.

I agree, I planted and eat the fruit of the java plum and take tea made from it’s bark and it has cured my diabetes.

I discovered the tree on the Internet and got some seed and now I can eat anything including candy and my sugar stays normal!!!

It’s the American Medical Association. they stop anything that might interfere with their profits. Also the drug companies, they dont want to CURE anything, only treat it so you will require more drugs.

Does anyone know which Vitamins or Minerals are best to help give the female libido a super-lift? Not Herbs.?

Posted by admin on Oct 10, 2009

I’m a 42yo female who’s husband is 44yo. His libido is higher than mine and lately I can’t quite keep up. Herbs seem to make my heart skip beats. I know our bodies require certain Vitamins & Minerals to keep this in check but, I cannot seem to find the right answers or…ppl think I want Medical Advice. I don’t. I just want to know which ones REALLY DO HELP THIS. Thank You in Advance for any knowledge you can pass along to help me with this issue. It’s not been fun. ;)

Dear lady, there is NO combination of vitamins and minerals that will do what you wish. You simply have to accept things the way they are or go to your gynecologist and ask for an evaluation and whether there are any medical therapies that can help (there are).
